When are board meetings held?
Board meetings are every third Tuesday of the month at 9:00 am through April. Then they are held at 8:00 pm through December. Meetings are always held in the Conservation District building on Stover Rd. in Bellaire.

Who can be a board member?
Members of the Conservation District Board must be Antrim County residents and should reflect the diversity of the clients that the directors serve. A Board Member must be voted into office during the the Antrim Conservation District Board member election. Elections are held every other year and members have four year terms.

What do Antrim Conservation board members do?
Our Board members are responsible for setting the direction and vision for the entire Conservation District. They govern the Conservation District, plan and monitor finances and other services. They also evaluate the progress of the District to keep this organization viable and moving. Participation is crucial for a board member. They are responsible for attending Board Meetings once a month, keeping up with the politics, annual plans of work, and the Districts provided services.
